Bruisyard Hall is available to book for three nights or longer at the weekends and two nights or longer during the week. You have the 12-bedroom Hall all to yourself with games room, attic bar and 700 acres of grassland, farmland and woodland to explore. Plus, you can bring your dog!
A stone’s throw from the Hall, the Barn that once housed pedigree Friesian cows has been converted into a grand setting for weddings and parties. The exposed oak beams, wooden floors and high ceiling still retain the feel of the medieval history, with great natural light and views of rolling farmland. With a capacity of 140 for ceremony and dining (more with a marquee), there is ample space for you to plan a magical barn wedding. The Barn also offers accommodation for an additional four guests.
Whether you would prefer a small wedding with your nearest and dearest, an intimate vow renewal ceremony or a big wedding with all the bells and whistles, we have everything you need for a beautiful countryside wedding. With a choice of places to marry, dine and dance, Bruisyard Hall is a truly unique wedding venue.
As owner, Robert Rous, emphasises: “It’s a home, not a hotel. You can kick your shoes off and put your feet up by the fire or enjoy a G&T on the terrace. Really settle in and feel at home. Luxurious accommodation
When guests enter through the grand hallway, they’ll have access to a dining room with polished oak table and plush seating for up to 24 guests. Ideal for a dinner-party or a delicious feast for the extended family.
There’s a fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances so you can enjoy preparing a hearty meal - or have the Bruisyard chefs prepare one for you. The Hall is available self-catering or catered or a mixture of both.
Just off the kitchen, there’s an oak floored games room with billiard table, flat screen TV with Sky and armchairs you can melt into. Upstairs, the quirky attic bar has a bar, sofas and beanbags and a separate poker area.

Behind the scenes there is a friendly and dedicated team that works hard to make your stay at Bruisyard Hall and Barn perfect and unforgettable; from preparing and serving locally sourced food, to keeping the Hall spotlessly clean and making sure guests have everything they need. We work with a team of trusted suppliers and have a number of contacts we can recommend to help you bring your vision to life. We can also work with your chosen suppliers. We are not a package venue and we will work our socks off to make every wedding and stay with us as special as possible. It’s what we do.
